INCOMING SERVER STRESS TEST

As we grow ever nearer to Bless Unleashed’s launch, we want to hold one more test to ensure that our servers are ready to handle the crushing weight of your demands on launch day.

To that end, we would like to invite you to participate in Bless Unleashed’s Server Infrastructure Stress Test! The test will run from 10:00 AM PST on January 30th to February 3rd at 10:00 AM PST (Hit the links for your time zone).

Progress from the open beta will carry over into this test, and our GM Team will be on hand with a number of events designed to stress our servers to the max, including Timed Dungeon Competitions, a rematch with the infamous Bone Dragon and other field boss raids! Plus, we’re extending the ability to earn the titles, “Breaker of Games” and “Dungeon Breaker”! You can earn the Breaker of Games title just by logging into the game during the stress test, but you’ll need to have completed all 11 dungeons, arena challenges and lairs available in the test to earn the Dungeon Breaker title. Progress from open beta will count! Finally, when Bless Unleashed launches, all players who participate in the stress test will also be rewarded with 7 days of Valor Perks. If you also participated in our open beta, this means you would have 14 days of Valor Perks for free at launch!

Finally, we also want to invite you to join us for a special livestream on January 28th at 4:00 PM PST where we’ll showcase some of the changes the dev team has implemented since the last time you had a chance to visit Lumios! Expect to see glimpses of 3v3 PvP Arena Combat, Union Content, and more! We’ll be live on Twitch and Mixer, so make sure to come and look at the new content the devs have been working on!

This live stream will be on a different build than the stress test, and will feature new content. In order to maintain the validity of this test, we are not introducing any new content during the server stress test, and players will be playing on the same build as they were in the open beta.

Be sure to join us and make our servers pray on January 30th at 10:00 AM PST!

FAQ

Q: Will progress from the open beta carry over to the Stress Test?

A: Yes! All characters, guilds and progress has been saved for this test.

Q: Will progress from the stress test carry over to launch?

A: No. All progress made will be wiped from the servers before we launch Bless Unleashed.

Q: When can I download the client?

A: You can download to your Xbox One from here right now! However, if you already have the client from the open beta, you will not need to download a new client.

Q: When will patch notes be posted?

A: There will be no patch notes for the Server Infrastructure Stress Test. We will be testing back end server changes only during this test. The client build will be the same build we used during the Bless Unleashed Open Beta.

Q: Why are you testing on the same client build instead of an updated build?

A: There’s a variety of technical reasons behind this. The main one is that we want to ensure some server issues uncovered during the open beta have been resolved. The best way to do that is to make changes on the server side only to test the fixes and use the same client as we did previously. This ensures that we can replicate circumstances that caused these issues best, so we know they’re fixed when we launch the game.

Q: Using the same client makes it seem like the devs haven’t made any changes since the open beta. What have they been up to?

A: They’ve been working hard! We have another more up to date build on our staging servers that we will show you during our livestream on January 28th at 4:00 PM PST. Make sure to join us on Twitch or Mixer, and see what’s new!

Q: This is great and all, but when are you releasing the game?

A: When it’s ready. We’re getting very close, and the results of this server test will tell us how close we are. You can expect to hear news about our release date soon after our Server Infrastructure Stress Test ends.
